We have to give Thorne Forrester some credit where credit is
due.
He is probably the most responsible parent on this show. He’s
probably one of the few who actually puts their children’s needs ahead of their
own selfish needs. When he returned to LA with Taylor to tell Aly the news that
they were seeing each other, Aly freaked out and even threatened Taylor with an
Axe. It sure looked like Aly wanted to kill Taylor, for getting
involved with her father and especially taking her mother away. When Thorne
realized how upset Aly had become, he had to make the ultimate sacrifice and
end things with Taylor. Who else do you know on this show who would do what Thorne
had done?
With a little encouragement from Oliver, he convinces Aly
that in order to move on and let go of all the resentment and anger she’s been
carrying around, is to forgive Taylor. Hesitant at first, Ally does make the
effort to talk to Taylor. These were some great scenes between Taylor and Aly
and great acting by both ladies. Thorne comes in at the end stunned (and who
wouldn’t be) to see Taylor and Aly hugging. Aly has forgiven Taylor.
It’s nice to see every once in a while that if someone makes
a sacrifice, they are rewarded at the end. Thorne made a sad decision to let go
of Taylor for Aly’s sake, but in the end, they were able to be with each other.
Thorne and Taylor can now move forward in their relationship and Aly can now
move forward with her life. She was able to move past her issues with Taylor,
however, can the same be said with her issues with Wyatt?
How do you feel about Aly forgiving Taylor for the hit and
run accident? What are your thoughts on this storyline? Do you think Aly can
now move forward? How do you feel about the show revisiting Thorne and Taylor’s
relationship? Would love to hear your comments below!
