Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Returns to B&B January 2015

Steffy Forrester fans rejoice!! The two time emmy nominated Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is returning to B&B late January 2015!

This comes as a surprise to many since the actress recently posted on social media that she would not be returning to the show anytime soon due to scheduling conflicts, but would reprise her role in a heartbeat if the show called for Steffy to return. Shortly afterwards JMW’s opening credits on the show was also removed which seemed to have been the final nail in the coffin. Many are speculating that the actress is returning to help fill the void since Kim Matula is no longer on canvas. We know Brad Bell Jr. wants to recast the role of Hope Logan and he has stated that she is an integral character on the show. JMW is only on recurring status - so she may come and go in between storyline’s. We may not know yet how long JMW will be on our screens for, but at least we can get our Steffy fix! Cha cha cha!

Maybe the TPTB read my post rant about the many reasons why Steffy could and should come back to the show! 

March 2015 Update: JMW has said via Facebook that she will be returning back to B&B for a longer stay. She said, "I will be coming back in April for a much longer stay." She begins taping in April.

Kim Matula (Hope Logan) Has Left the Bold and the Beautiful

Well folks, Kim Matula has left the building. Kim announced on her official Facebook page that she has decided not to renew her contract with the Bold and the Beautiful:

"What can I say about today? I can officially confirm that I filmed my last scenes at The Bold and The Beautiful. For now. . It was a day full of love and laughter and reminiscing about the past 5 years. I made the incredibly difficult decision not to resign my contract so that I could spread my wings as an actor and see what this big beautiful world has to offer. But I can never put into words just how amazing and inspiring this show has been. What a huge part of my life. I do not see this as a "goodbye" but more of a "see you later." Thank you for giving me an unforgettable 5 years as Hope Logan and thank you to every single viewer who sat side by side with me on this journey. Cheers to the next adventure!!"

Who Will Be the Next Hope Logan?

The internet is buzzing with rumours and speculation on who will be the next Hope Logan on the Bold and the Beautiful. When Kim announced she would not be renewing her contract, Brad Bell Jr. said in November he would not be recasting the role. Since then an interview published in the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, reports “Hope Logan is a critical and central character to the show.” He added, “Hope will continue to be on the show. We’re losing Kim Matula, who is a brilliant actress, and I am hoping, at some point, she will return in the role — but the role will continue. I’ve lost so many actors and actresses in recent years that I’m excited about the challenge,” said Bell.

Best of luck to Kim Matula and her future endeavors. Kim's last air date on B&B was December 12th, 2014.

March 2015 Update: Kim Matula has returned in the beginning of March for one day of filming. Scott Clifton teased Hope's appearance may be a Skype call but he doesn't know with who.

Hope And Liam Are NOT Meant To Be!

Why does Brad Bell keep trying to make Hope and Liam out to be these long lost, star crossed lovers?! There probably aren’t two people on any soap that are more mismatched and clearly NOT meant to be!

Hope is always too quick to give up on Liam. Couldn’t she have waited a few more minutes in Paris for Liam to get there?! Couldn’t she have tried calling him? This is 2014, everyone has cell phones!

Of course, it’s always ABOUT FREAKIN HOPE. I’m tired of hearing Hope whining how “embarrassed” she was while waiting for Liam at Paris at their special spot (since when do they have a special spot in Paris anyways? This was never mentioned before). Quinn was spot on when she confronted Hope at Wyatt’s; the decision was all Hope’s to run off with Wyatt. Whether Liam got stuck in traffic, had a flight delay, or Quinn pushed Ivy into the Seine, ultimately it was HOPE who decided to leave and marry Wyatt. No one held a gun to her head and forced her to do anything she didn’t want to. She didn’t give Liam the benefit of the doubt, she didn’t believe that Liam would show. So much for their “undying love” for each other (insert eye roll here). Quinn knows Hope is “a person of morals” and thinks she will honour her marriage to Wyatt. This is why Quinn is so smug and is gloating to Liam. All opinions aside, why would someone like Quinn, want a little girl like Hope with her son? Clearly she has a divided heart for both Spencer brothers.

Liam has waffled for years between Hope and Steffy. Now Hope is waffling between Liam and Wyatt – what a freaking hypocrite. If Hope and Liam were clearly meant to be together, then they wouldn’t keep facing one obstacle after another.

If I hear someone say ‘we were robbed’ ONE MORE TIME!

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood says she "would love to come back and play Steffy"

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood took a bit of time to chat with her fans via Facebook and Twitter. Unfortunately for us fans, it doesn't sound like JMW is confirmed to come back to B&B anytime soon:

"I would love to come back and play Steffy but she is a pivotal character on the show. So if I couldn't come back because of a scheduling conflict etc I would completely understand if the had to recast."

"I love the cast and crew at Bnb. I would definitely come back. Its all depending of where storyline is, scheduling conflicts etc. I just spoke with Brad Bell last week so there could be something in the near future. If Steffy is back you know I'll be the first one to tell my fans."

"Absolutely! If the storyline asks for Steffy I'll be there xo"

"If the story asks for Steffy I would definitely come back."

"I love the cast and everyone at Bnb! As of now no but maybe in the near future. All depends on storyline and scheduling. :)"

Based on JMW's comments, it does not sound like she is scheduled to make a Steffy appearance anytime soon.

Is Quinn the Next Sheila Carter?

We already know that Quinn Fuller is certifiably crazy. 

She’s delusional, obsessive, dangerous, and impulsive.

First she stabbed Bill with his sword necklace. Now this week Quinn stabbed Liam with his sword necklace!

Like wtf?

She has the nerve to show up at Liam’s beach house gloating and all smug over the fact Ridge is alive and thinks that Hope will go back to Wyatt now. Quinn is so delusional and out of touch with reality… Just because Ridge was found, does not mean Hope is now going to run back into Wyatt’s arms. One of the main reasons, and in my opinion, a huge deal breaker in Hope’s decision to go back to Liam, was the scary thought of having Quinn as a future mother in law. Quinn would be the mother in law from hell.

Who does Quinn think she is trying to belittle, intimidate and threaten Liam? I certainly think Liam is no prize (see 'L' is for Loser ... and Liam Spencer ) but at least he can stick up for himself when it comes to Quinn. Liam has every right to be concerned when it comes to Quinn because he has been right about her since the beginning. She is completely unhinged and crazy. Quinn has no right to hurt and threaten Liam in any way, and if she does, which we know she will, it will only solidify Hopes decision in why she chose Liam over Wyatt in the first place.

Quinn’s problem (among many others) is that she is way too invested and obsessive over her son Wyatt’s love life. She doesn’t realize or understand that the more she tries to “fix things” for her son, the worse she makes it for everyone around her, especially for Wyatt. Quinn is definitely up to no good and still hasn’t learned her lesson. After stabbing Liam with his sword necklace, Quinn says “You live by the sword, you die by the sword”. This to me sounds like foreshadowing, because she is later seen working in her warehouse with a blowtorch and melting metal. When Deacon shows up, she tells him that she is going to kill Liam – and I don’t think she is joking. My guess is that Quinn is making a full sized sword and is going to try to hurt Liam enough to make him back away from Hope.

Honestly Quinn cry me a river… you’re not always going to get whatever you want whenever you want. Deal with it.
