Aly Forgives Taylor

We have to give Thorne Forrester some credit where credit is due.

He is probably the most responsible parent on this show. He’s probably one of the few who actually puts their children’s needs ahead of their own selfish needs. When he returned to LA with Taylor to tell Aly the news that they were seeing each other, Aly freaked out and even threatened Taylor with an Axe. It sure looked like Aly wanted to kill Taylor, for getting involved with her father and especially taking her mother away. When Thorne realized how upset Aly had become, he had to make the ultimate sacrifice and end things with Taylor. Who else do you know on this show who would do what Thorne had done?

With a little encouragement from Oliver, he convinces Aly that in order to move on and let go of all the resentment and anger she’s been carrying around, is to forgive Taylor. Hesitant at first, Ally does make the effort to talk to Taylor. These were some great scenes between Taylor and Aly and great acting by both ladies. Thorne comes in at the end stunned (and who wouldn’t be) to see Taylor and Aly hugging. Aly has forgiven Taylor.

It’s nice to see every once in a while that if someone makes a sacrifice, they are rewarded at the end. Thorne made a sad decision to let go of Taylor for Aly’s sake, but in the end, they were able to be with each other. Thorne and Taylor can now move forward in their relationship and Aly can now move forward with her life. She was able to move past her issues with Taylor, however, can the same be said with her issues with Wyatt?

How do you feel about Aly forgiving Taylor for the hit and run accident? What are your thoughts on this storyline? Do you think Aly can now move forward? How do you feel about the show revisiting Thorne and Taylor’s relationship? Would love to hear your comments below!

Steffy and Bill book: Forbidden Affair

Attention all STILL fans!

If you are missing your favorite super couple, Steffy Forrester and Bill Spencer, there is another fix you can have besides watching old B&B episodes on Youtube.

There is a romantic novel about Steffy Forrester and Bill Spencer called Forbidden Affair: Bold and the Beautiful written by Amy Andrews

Steffy is back.

A year in Paris has cemented her resolve to get over Liam and her miscarriage. Resigning from Forrester Creations is her first step.

She is surprised when Bill offers her a job as head of marketing and PR at Eye On Fashion. Is this what she wants?

Hoping to convince her it is, Bill joins her volunteering at Daisy's.

They are alone, late at night, when an earthquake strikes, and the building collapses around them.

Frightened and trapped in the rubble, they become closer, and Steffy realizes she's falling in love with the last man she should.

But is this an attraction borne from fear, or is it something much deeper?

There's also an interview with Don Diamont (Bill) and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) promoting the book.

Even in the interview these two have amazing chemistry. Jacqueline says that Steffy's true love was Bill Spencer (but accidently refers to him as Don!). I also loved the clip they showed at the 0:17 mark. I can admit - I've re-watched that several times.

If only Brad Bell Jr. would reunite these two!

What are your thoughts on Forbidden Affair: Bold and the Beautiful? Have you read the book? Would you recommend others to read it and why? Does it make you miss seeing Bill & Steffy on screen?

The Return of Taylor Hayes: Aly vs. Taylor?

Forrester fans rejoice!

Hunter Tylo has returned to the Bold and the Beautiful for a couple of weeks to reprise her role as Dr. Taylor Hayes, debuting April 25, 2014 until mid May. This comes as a surprise (or not) to some fans to learn Taylor's secret lover is...... Thorne Forrester! I guess it's safe to say that Taylor's relationship with Thorne's father, Eric Forrester, is over then?

Looks like Taylor's storyline will revolve around her rekindling the romance she had with Thorne many years ago. However they're going to face a major road block - Thorne's daughter, Aly.

For those who don't remember, Taylor was the one who accidentally killed Aly's mother, Darla, one night while she was driving drunk behind the wheel. To add salt to the wounds, Taylor then began dating Thorne after Darla's death, which infuriated Aly. In fact, the day of Taylor and Thorne's wedding, little 4 year old Aly took a pair of scissors and cut up Taylor's wedding dress. The wedding was then called off after that (Aly 1, Taylor 0)

Fast forward to present day, and Aly still has extreme psychological issues towards Taylor. She gets angry if the name Taylor even comes up in conversation. She still blames Taylor for taking her mother away from her and becomes so angry, you half expect her to change into The Hulk.

Aly is going to blow a fuse when she finds out her father and Taylor are dating again. We've already seen the crazy side of Aly where Wyatt is concerned. Imagine how she'll react when she finds out her father is romantically involved with Taylor, again.

I have a feeling Taylor's wedding dress that was cut up will pale in comparison to what Aly may do now...

"It's time to cut you off" Aly confronting Taylor. Pun intended?

What are your thoughts on Taylor returning to the show? How do you feel about the Taylor/Aly/Thorne storyline? Would love to hear your comments!

Brooke's Bedroom aka Brooke's Brothel

I have returned from a long hiatus after seeing today's cringe-worthy, vomit-inducing, fast-forwarding episode of today's B&B....

It makes me really sad to say this, but this show has gone so downhill. I really hope it can be renewed for many more years to come, but with writing like this lately I am starting to lose hope.

Just to make myself perfectly clear, I am not surprised whatsoever that Brooke and Bill do the deed and betray Katie. Not surprised at all. Brooke is even more weak without a man in her life. We get it. She always gets what she wants and steals unavailable men. She has slept through her children's men more than once - betraying Bridgette by sleeping with Deacon, betraying Hope by sleeping with Oliver, and now betraying her own sister by sleeping with her husband. She's starting to run out of family members to screw with (pun intended). This comes as no surprise at all, and I'm glad Taylor called her out what and who she is.

What really disappoints me is that the writers would go down this road. You can clearly tell they're running out of fresh, exciting, new ideas because they keep rehashing history over and over again. Brooke's Bedroom? Again? Been there done that. Brooke breaking up ANOTHER marriage *Gasp!* Been there done that. Brooke's holier-than-thou attitude? Still there, and done that. Brooke playing the victim and justifying that she has done "nothing wrong"? Definitely been there and done that. No one is surprised or cares who Brooke sleeps with and betrays, it's way too played out. Writers are you taking notes? You need to listen to the fans, as the fans determine the fate of your show.

And that brings me on to my next point. Who's writing this crap? Apparently Katherine Kelly Lang is behind the BRILL (Brooke+Bill) storyline. Ummm.... who put her in charge of writing and what writing credentials does she have? No wonder this storyline sucks and nobody likes it. Can you not come up with a more original idea?

This show is severely lacking the PASSION and LUSTRE it once used to have. Everybody is so sick of Brooke/Bill, Steffy/Liam, Hope/Liam. These storylines are so recycled I wonder how the actors themselves don't get bored replaying the same lines over and over again? Why is Katherine Kelly Lang, a non-Emmy winner, getting all the attention and calling all the shots? Yes there are Brooke fans. But fan bases of every OTHER character on this show way outnumber her.

Heather Tom is a phenominal and multi-winner of several Emmy's. Her talents are not being used on this 17 minute show. She has stated herself in interviews that she has loved the Katie/Bill/Steffy triangle. STILL was a goldmine and had ratings through the roof. If it is true that Katherine Kelly Lang and Ronn Moss' jealously of STILL's popularity and potential super couple status is what forced Brad Bell to cut the ropes....then that alone says a lot.

Writer's if you're readying this - please listen to what you're loyal and long time view fans are trying to tell you. We don't want to see anymore of BRILL, STEAM, or LOPE. Give us something exciting and different then repeated storylines. The relationships between Rick/Maya/Caroline and Taylor/Eric are growing on me and I'm curious to see where it goes. But the other actors noted above need to be given some justice as they dominate a good portion of screen time and a lot of fans are disappointed. If you don't believe me, then just pick one of the many soap boards out there and you will easily find on the first page a thread about how someone threw up watching the afterglow of Brooke & Bills affair, or how someone FF button is wearing out because all they do is skip through STEAM or LOPE scenes.

Brooke and Bill lying to themselves and trying to fool Katie into thinking that there is "nothing going on between us"

What are you thoughts about the current storylines? The direction the show is taking? The influence Katherine Kelly Lang has in writing her own storylines?
